For me, the summer just started, but in these days the stores are overloaded with summer-pieces on sale and new autumn collections being brought in. When in cheap-summerclothing heaven, I try to be a little sensible and look for pieces that can be useful for fall/winter.

Some tips on what to look for when going wild on sale:

- Basics with a twist
- Rough materials
- Summery garments that easily combine with your fall wardrobe
- Jackets that are big enough to allow wearing something warm underneath
- Dresses for the upcoming seasons’ occasions
- Apparel isn’t alone on sale: visit the make-up- or hobby-store
- Lingerie – especially if you are a special size that requires expensive, specialized shops, this is a great opportunity to make some good purchases.

Don’t buy it just because it is cheap! Unless you really, really want it, you shouldn’t get it. Extravagant pieces in the chain stores are often left to the sale because loads of people aren’t able to see how great they are when they’re on a hanger. This is your chance to make a scoop!

Today I brought home some beauty-products, a cute hat and some materials for scrapping, not all of it on sale though.
